Pandas Cross Country Ends Drought in Quest for PCL Championship

Bonner & Prendie head coach Kevin Kee can finally say the drought is over. Senior Jenna Rastatter lead the way for our Pandas with a second place finish, while freshman Hailey Bierling's 13th place finish solidified their first championship victory since 2000. It was a triumphant victory as the Pandas outdueled O'Hara by a single point with a 42-43 finish.

Kee stated, "We were either going to win it or finish second. I told them we need three in the top 10, five make All-Catholic (top-15 finish) and for sixth and seventh to be right there and that's what they went out and did." Rastatter finished at 20:10.80 and Bierling's clocked in at 22:13.40 to seal the victory for the Pandas. Kee also said, "Corrina (O'Lock), Maggie (Salter) and Hailey (Bierling), the two sophomores and a freshman, were the key. They gave us the points we needed to win."

Kee has lead Bonner & Prendie XCTF to a fourth-place finish his first year and a third-place finish last year. Please extend a congratulations to the Pandas and coach Kee!
